Lacroix – Champagne producer
Lacroix
Producing high quality medium-weight wines with a complex flavour profile
Champagne Lacroix was established in 1968 by Jean Lacroix. Jean was joined by his son Anthony in 1999 after he had completed his wine studies at Avize University.
Lacroix white wines have a mouth‐filling, medium‐weight, biscuity flavour profile and are produced from the classic 3‐grape blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier.
The domain now covers 11 hectares across 7 villages in the Marne and Aisne valleys, providing a variety of micro‐climate conditions and terroirs. ‘Old vines’ of between 30 and 50 years age account for two thirds of the Champagne Lacroix vineyards. This reduces production yield but importantly enhances grape quality, and ultimately increases the complexity of their wines
